Michelle HuangHi, I'm Michelle! I graduated from Cornell University in 2014 with a degree in Operations Research and Information Engineering. Since graduating, I pursued a career in data where I've worked as an analyst, engineer and consultant across various industries including e-commerce, retail, fintech, healthcare, and health & wellness. I'm currently an analytics manager at Weight Watchers, where I support business teams in leveraging data to identify opportunities for growth and to measure the success of our initiatives. I'm particularly interested in bridging the gap between analytics and engineering (analytics engineering!), to build better tools and infrastructure for data driven decision making. While I'm not working, you can find me climbing big mountains, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, drinking bubble tea, finding new restaurants to eat at or hanging out with my dog Jax! I'm also passionate about increasing awareness around diversity and inclusion in the outdoors and increasing accessibility to climbing and mountaineering.
I would love to work with mentees who are open minded, curious, and willing to give and receive feedback. I view mentorship as a two way relationship and I think it can be such a valuable experience for both mentor and mentee. I'm really looking forward to working with you through AAD! |

Sam KimYou may find me unrelatable and unapproachable at first, but trust me when I say the only difference between us is a few years of working experience. I graduated from the United States Military Academy as an Infantry Officer in 2019 majoring in Information Technology. I’m currently working on my M.S. in Cyber Security, but also pondering how I will transition from the military here shortly – lacking professional experience in the technology industry. I would love to speak with you on my experiences and networks that I’ve used to address some of my self-identified short comings and help you pave your own path. My biggest strength is my ability to engage and develop a cohesive team and I hope to develop a team through this mentorship opportunity.

Vincent TranMy name is Vincent Tran and I am currently living in Quincy, MA after graduating from Hamilton College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Right after, I worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 3 years as a Financial Advisor. Wasn't a fan of the culture so I made a pivot into tech sales. Has been dope and I am fully remote, although I do visit the NYC office here and there. Some things I like: Basketball, sports, romantic comedies, and doing things that push you mentally as well as physically. I once ran 26.2 miles for fun with only three days of preparation.

Momo RamstedtHi! I'm Momo, and I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology and a minor in Education from UC Santa Cruz. Though I have many years teaching molecular biology and organic chemistry, as a queer, 1st generation mixed Japanese-American person, I have a lot of interest in research in Asian American sexuality and gender. Since graduating, I have been redirecting my career goals into something more aligned with the life path I see fit with my true passions. I especially reflect a lot on the experiences of queer, lesbian, and trans Asian American people. I think a lot about our histories in immigration and war that make us seek channels for heritage preservation and, with that, self preservation. I like to focus on the fetishization of East and Southeast Asian bodies, and particularly our genitalia, in Northern America.
If you are in STEM, interested in changing career paths, or love talking about sexuality & gender, education, cooking, and spiritual & emotional growth, I think we’d be a fantastic fit. |
