Yuko Yates

Senior Vice President; Business Support Executive Head of Business Strategy & Initiatives, Legal Bank of America
Yuko Yates leads business strategy and initiatives for the Legal Department at Bank of America. In her role, she is responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including operational excellence, technology initiatives, and process and data enablement across the department. 

Yuko joined the bank in Singapore in 2010 and relocated to New York in June 2020. 

Yuko has been actively engaged in driving diversity & inclusion efforts in the organization. She currently serves as the co-chair for the Bank of America Asian Leadership Network New York chapter. 

Yuko is originally from Japan and holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Keio University in Japan. She has been in the Business Enablement and Business Control roles in the investment banks throughout her career, working in Tokyo, New York, London and Singapore
