Event Summary

We're ecstatic to announce that we will be hosting our inaugural, annual AAD Open tennis tournament and fundraiser on Saturday, August 19th at Chestnut Ridge Racquet Club! The event will begin with an exciting tennis tournament at 2:00pm with 5 doubles draws: Mixed, Women’s A and B, and Men’s A and B. The A draws will be an excellent opportunity to compete with high-level players. The Mixed and B draws are open for all levels (beginners welcome) to play and support AAD. Champions and Finalists will be awarded with a variety of cash and sponsor prizes. Tournament Registration is $125/player. If you need a partner, email kevin@asianamericandream.org. 

General admission and the Championship Round will begin at 5:00pm. However, guests are more than welcome to watch the preliminary rounds of the tournament starting at 2:00pm. General admission will also feature the exclusive, AAD Open Afterparty presented by Moët Hennessy. Explore 10+ vendor booths, dive into a culinary journey with food from the Mobile Pie Pizza Truck, Dumplings for Yu, and Happy Tuna and sip on premium drinks from Moët Hennessy and Sanzo. If you've still got energy, dance to the beat of DJ Hengtime and jump into open tennis play! Andy Yu, a local icon and tennis player will be honored with AAD’s inaugural Asian American Dreamer award for uplifting Pan Asian American and LGBTQIA+ communities and beyond, through fashion, food, culture, and tennis. 

AAD’s fundraising goal is $50,000 and has already raised over $34,000! Come support the dreams of underserved Pan Asian American college students by registering to play in the AAD Open tennis tournament and attending the event with family and friends. Hurry, tickets are selling fast.
