Kin Mentorship Program

Empowering underserved AAPI undergraduates through career-driven, community-rooted mentorship.

There is power in being part of something bigger than yourself and in asking for help. Especially from someone that looks like you and that has been in your shoes. AAD’s signature program pairs 200 AAPI undergraduates with 200 AAPI professionals in the New York Metropolitan Area.

Over the course of 12 months, Kin Mentors and Mentees discover a greater sense of community, unlock the power of cultural kinship, and achieve milestone career goals. Through seeing what's possible, Kin Mentees become more empowered to dream big and professionally equipped to achieve big.
