Hi, I'm Michelle! I graduated from Cornell University in 2014 with a degree in Operations Research and Information Engineering. Since graduating, I pursued a career in data where I've worked as an analyst, engineer and consultant across various industries including e-commerce, retail, fintech, healthcare, and health & wellness. I'm currently an analytics manager at Weight Watchers, where I support business teams in leveraging data to identify opportunities for growth and to measure the success of our initiatives. I'm particularly interested in bridging the gap between analytics and engineering (analytics engineering!), to build better tools and infrastructure for data driven decision making. While I'm not working, you can find me climbing big mountains, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, drinking bubble tea, finding new restaurants to eat at or hanging out with my dog Jax! I'm also passionate about increasing awareness around diversity and inclusion in the outdoors and increasing accessibility to climbing and mountaineering.
I would love to work with mentees who are open minded, curious, and willing to give and receive feedback. I view mentorship as a two way relationship and I think it can be such a valuable experience for both mentor and mentee. I'm really looking forward to working with you through AAD!
