Nathalie WijerathnaStudent Engagement Co-Lead
I'm Nathalie Wijerathna, a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego, where I’ve begun delving into the world of marketing as a specialist for an Asian-woman owned sushi restaurant. During my time in college, I led the Asian Student Association and even captained the Black Student Union's dance team. My passion for dance and cultural awareness led me to join various multicultural organization dance teams, including the Asian student dance team. I took on the challenge of organizing the Alana conference twice, aiming to highlight diversity in predominantly white institutions. Embracing my South Asian roots (Pakistani and Sri Lankan), I express my love for my culture and others through painting, dancing, and cooking. |
