AAD Virtual Career Fairs (VCFs) are career advancement opportunities that provide AAD students with inroads to partner employers across a variety of industries. AAD VCFs serve as an efficient and effective way for employers to gain access to a nationwide pool of highly motivated, proactive, and trained talent.

The AAD Career Fair allowed me to explore my interests and a variety of industries (luxury retail, consulting, real estate, journalism/media, etc.). I especially liked the opportunity to book 1-on-1 sessions with employers to have a more personalized experience! I also appreciated the supportive environment :)

Attending the AAD Q1 Virtual Career Fair to share more about our internship program went as smooth as possible for it being virtual. I was able to have one on one conversations with 6 students and a few of them applied to my organization’s internship program. We hired through AAD because we wanted to ensure that our organization could be exposed to top Asian American student talent, which we did. I recall our intern also participated in the Kin Mentorship Program hosted by AAD which allowed her to have another source of mentorship alongside her internship manager, both supporting her growth as a young professional. Overall, we were very satisfied with our intern that was hired from the AAD Career Fair, and we will be sure to attend future events as well.

Being able to support AAD and the students that attended as an Asian American myself was a wonderful experience and provided me as an employer lots of energy hearing from our community's youth. After hearing more about what students are hoping for, this helps inform our team toward to be more intentional about the opportunities that we offer at our organization. Thank you AAD team!

The AAD x CAPAL Career Fair was a wonderfully engaging experience, directly connecting dynamic, accomplished AANHPI students across the country with top employers seeking next generation leaders to hire. I was truly impressed by the calibre of students and quality of conversations I had throughout the day.

The Asian American Dream provides robust programming resulting in well-rounded students; Their unique programming includes mentorship on identity as an Asian American to navigating collegiate and professional careers to workshops for cultivating traditional and new workplace skills. Students also have the ability to fine-tune their skills and confidence and apply it at career fairs that AAD offers.
